CHAMPIONS!!!!

Please excuse my grossness,
I promise I am losing weight, guess just not in the right places! (more motivation, right?).
I am only uploading them for the memories!

So our neighbors were nice enough to let us play on their softball team these past couple of months, and tonight was the CHAMPIONSHIP game, and.... WE WON!!! Our team name was PT/OT Society. It made me giggle hearing the other teams chant it in their huddles. You try it, its not easy! I said they should just shorten it to "P.O.O.T", but I don't think that would go over very well with BYU-I rules... Hehe!

Our game was awesome though!! Everyone was playing so good! The score was 11-12! SO CLOSE!! We did super awesome, considering some of the top players we had were injured! Bryce (our captain) rolled his ankle the night before the big game, and during the game there were players getting injured, my hubby included... =(. Louis ended up getting hurt pretty badly, He pushed through it as long as he could, but ended up having to come out of the game...(Rolled his ankle TWICE!) Didn't help that he wasn't wearing his brace the first time, but after he put it on he rolled it AGAIN! Ughhh! I hate seeing my hubby in pain! But the team pulled through (Bryce took over pitching) and we won! Very exciting! We even won some pretty awesome T-shirts!

(Compliments to Carly Mortensen for the pictures! Thanks Girl!)
Maybe if I would've put my glove on my head
I would've helped me not look so bad? No? ;)

Our awesome team!!! GO PT/OT SOCIETY!!!!!

#1!!! I am so glad he loves me for me!

My hubby doing his best to
 get to the team photo!
who would've thought that a bat
 would make a good crutch!?

I look so terrible! But Carly watched Lexi, and said she was being soo good the whole time,  considering she was up 2 hrs past her bedtime! What a trooper! It is safe to say she is sound asleep! Sleep baby sleep! =)

Louis even got to have a personal ride to our car. The trainer was super sweet! Thanks to whatever your name was! ;) I just had to photo-bomb the picture. I had too!

After the game, our friends Jessica and Colby Bradshaw (who just happened to be at the game to watch some friends on the opposite team, kinda ironic, were there) I asked Colby if he wouldn't mind giving Lou a blessing.
There is just something so very powerful about Priesthood blessings. I just love the feeling and spirit it brings into our home! Thanks Liam Jensen (our upstairs neighbor) and Colby, for being worthy holders of the Priesthood! ;) We are so blessed to live around so many worthy holders of the Priesthood, I am gonna miss that about Rexburg when we move!

July 4th and Summer Fun!

*July 4th 2013*

So I know we kinda cheated and celebrated July 4th the Saturday BEFORE the actual 4th, so so decided to support our local July 4th Parade here in RExburg, and carry on the tradition from last year when we went with some friends. (Yay for actually having babies this year and not being preggo and dying of heat! (Not that I wouldn't be EXTREMELY happy if I was preggo. but you get what I mean!)

I looooooove parades! Manassa's parade is hands down the best parade I've been too. (Dont judge, I've been to a ton of parade but only in 3 states, so Im sure there are some pretty incredible ones out there!) But Manassa's actually take time to decorate their floats, and they are simply amazing! (Pictures to back that up in a few weeks after I attend their parade) But in the meantime here are some of Rexburg's parade... You'll see what I mean..
Lexi Jo waiting for the parade to start!
This photo makes me giggle because you can see her eyes!
(I have to hold her hands to keep her from taking them off..)

"Mommy! I want my sucker back!!! it was YUMMY!!!!)
Thanks to the lady who gave her one btw... (not!)

Lexi looks a little milk wasted. So I added another picture to redeem her look.

Excuse our grossness and just look at the cute baby!

Waving with Daddy!
Playing with Daddy during the parade!

Gotta represent Idaho!

What's a parade without a good ol' marching band!

This honestly, was the coolest float.
For those of you who have seen Manassa's parade, you get what I mean now?
Lexi LOVED the horses!

That was basically all we did that day! Fun huh? (*sarcasm*)
Later we bbq'd some brats, and I took Lexi outside our apartment to look at other people shooting off their fireworks.

*July 8th 2013*

(Happy Birthday Nana!)

So this week our apartment complex is doing their resident appreciation. So Monday, they gave all the residents of our complex free entries to "Rexburg Rapids." I didn't really know what to expect, but it turned out to be pretty fun! Until Lexington fell asleep RIGHT before we got there!! Silly girl!

Isn't he a cutie!?

But that didn't stop Daddy from joining the fun! I think he was more excited than she was! Obviously... since she was STILL sleeping!!!

Louis climbing the rockwall!
Our friend from the ward David, also climbing the wall.

They both made it, but were to excited to pose for the picture. So technically we could argue that it never happened, right?! Hehe...

The water was FREEEEEZING!!!

I couldn't let Daddy have ALL the fun!

She had absolutely no idea what was going on..

Lexi sure was the life of the party with all our friends!

That sexy beast with a farmers tan is all mine! Getting ready to go down the slide!
(whoever thought my city boy would get a farmers tan!)

That's Lexi saying, "What the heck is going on with all these pictures?!"

Way to represent 6th ward guys!

*Lexington update*

*WARNING*
The following picures are SURE to put a smile on your face...
SO...
if you can't handle EXTREME CUTENESS,
I suggest you stop now and take your crankiness elsewhere!

*July 3rd 2013*
Since it was just 1 day before the 4th I decided to dress Lexington up foe her 9 MONTH pictures! Whaaat?! Where does the time go, seriously! 3 more months and my little baby will be 1 YEAR OLD! Crazy! She offically has 2 little teeth now! (A pic to follow) You can only truly see 1 though. She loves crawling, waving, and pulling herself up on E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! She also LOVES LOVES LOVES books! SO that means Mommy and Daddy need to get better at building up her library! Lexi truly is a very happy baby! I feel truly blessed to be her Mother!

1 little tooth. The other one is hard to see in pictures.. but its there!

**********************************************************************

These pictures are a little older, but too cute not to share!
This little girl gets into anything and everything!
Lately this has been her place of choice to hangout,
even with the pillows blocking her way!

This face makes me SO EXCITED (Not) for when shes a teenager.
You can just feel the attitude! =) (Notice she has a piggy tail!!! Yay for longer hair!)

Getting pretty for church!

Playtime with Daddy before bed! She loves her Daddy so much!

<---- She stayed in that basket for about 30 min. Not joking.
Her very first piggy tails!
Mommy was soo excited!

I was just surprised she sat still the whole time!
She was smiling and giggling the whole time!
No doubt to say we are gonna have a lot of fun
together in the future!

The end result...
Think we will wait a little bit longer! =)

Yup, she learned how to crawl hands and knees last month!
Super Fun!

Had to block her from getting out so I could get things done!

Too cute for words! Seriously!
I was having a rough morning that morning, and when I asked her to smile. its like she posed just for me. She was really saying. "Mommy, chill out. Breathe. Remember I'm so cute?!?!"
